Densitometry, Calcium and Vitamin D Tests
for Senior Citizens of Vasant Kunj

The ISBMR with the help of Senior Citizens Welfare Association (SCWA), Vasant Kunj organized the above tests for over 250 Senior Citizens over a period of one month. The tests were organized by INMAS (Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Applied Sciences) under the aegis of Brig (Dr) R.N.Marwaha.

Senior Citizens were taken in batches of 20-25 per day by a bus, empty stomach. On arrival their blood was drawn for various tests for fasting and later on served with break fast/ snacks (at their cost) at the canteen. Their complete body scanning was done for osteoporosis. Once tests for the entire batch were over they were brought back to the starting point from where they made their own arrangements.

Once result of all the tests were available, Brig Marwaha and Dr. Ambrish Mithal came to the office and Conference Hall of SCWA and advised all of them individually over two sessions.
ISBMR acknowledges the support of Mrs. J Tanja president SCWA, Vasant Kunj and Mr M L Banga who took the initiative on behalf of the SCWA.

We are also grateful to our president Dr Ambrish Mithal and Brig. (Dr.) R.N.Marwaha who initiated the proposal as well as saw it through .By his effort, each Senior Citizens was able to save over Rs 8000/- per head, besides getting the best investigation and advice on treatment.
